Sundin helped the Leafs offense for over a decade, (420 goals and 567 assists), the most in Leafs’ history. He also was the captain for most of his time in Toronto. Sundin鈥檚 leadership was recognized during the 2007-08 season when he won the Mark Messier Leadership award, which recognizes an individual as a superior leader within their sport and as a contributing member of society.
His No. 13 was retired by the team in 2016.
