Over the past decade, Wheeler has been the face of the Jets franchise. A member of the organization鈥檚 first team in the return to Winnipeg in 2011, he has been a reliable player ever since. Wheeler served as the team鈥檚 captain for six seasons before the team opted to not have a captain for this season.
