East Lincoln HS football team defeats top-ranked team
DENVER, N.C. — East Lincoln Mustangs rolled past the #1 rated and favorite Kings Mountain Friday, November 25th to remain undefeated.
East Lincoln advanced to the 5th round NCHSAA 3A West Regional Final and hosts the South Point Red Raiders Friday night In Denver, NC.
East had a dominant performance winning 46-20 in Kings Mountain and proved skeptics wrong once again.
East had 556 all purpose yards for the game. The Mustangs have now outscored their opponents 578-87 points this season. Senior VA commit, Keandre Walker had 3 touchdowns with a catch on Offense, a pick 6 on defense and a punt return.
Sophmore star Chris (Duece)Dailey had 3 Touchdowns of his own starting the scoring on the 1st play from scrimmage for the Mustangs on a 40 yard run. Dailey added scores of 60 and 80 yards as well.
Coach Lubowicz seemed surprised at the dominant style of the win and has done a special job this season at keeping his team performing at its best.
Friday鈥檚 home game at East Lincoln vs South Point Raiders starts at 7pm. The winner advances to State Championship Dec 9-10.
