Clarkston HS cross country runners compete at state finals
CLARKSTON, Mich. — The Clarkston High School Boys Cross Country team finished fourth in the MHSAA State Finals this fall out of 27 competing teams. The Wolves were led by Clarkston senior Henry Poploskie who finished 29th along with junior Bryce Nowik, junior Andrew Floros, and sophomore Jaxson Nowik who all finished in the top 100 racers.
The Clarkston High School Girls Cross Country team had a great state competition as well and finished the competition in 23rd place. Junior Alexandra Brigham led the team and finished in 14th place overall with a time of 18 minutes 37 seconds.
Also competing in the State Finals was the Clarkston Everest Collegiate Girls Cross Country team who finished in 17th place in the Division 4 Finals. Sophomore Erica Walker was the team leader finishing in 67th place overall.
