Top 10 Timberwolves players of all time
2. Kevin Love, F/C
When Kevin Love was selected No. 5 overall by the Memphis Grizzlies and traded on draft night for O.J. Mayo, many Timberwolves fans were displeased. The disappointment didn’t last long as Love turned into a nightly stat-sheet stuffer in Minnesota. He averaged 19.2 points and 12.2 rebounds during his six seasons with the Timberwolves and even set an NBA-record streak of 53 straight double-doubles during the 2011-12 season. Love would eventually be traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers – where he would become an NBA champion – in 2014, but the five-time All-Star turned into an All-NBA talent in Minnesota.
