Another one of the nation’s highest-rated big men – Miranda – plays his school ball in California but the four-star center’s hometown is Pawtucket, Rhode Island. After early interest from local schools evolved into national attention, Miranda transferred to a top program in the Los Angeles area: Southern California Academy. The first uncommitted prospect to appear on this list dwindled his college choices down to a group of eight that includes Georgetown, Louisville, Oregon, Texas, UConn, UCLA, USC and his hometown school of Rhode Island. But with Miranda’s elite and unique set of skills, he may forgo college entirely for the NBA as a draft-eligible, post-graduate 19-year-old.
