Much like Batties, Mack led his St. John鈥檚 Cadets team to the DCSAA Class AA semifinals before they fell in the round. Mack was a clear leader for the Cadets during the campaign, helping lead the squad to a 15-13 record. The 6-foot-1 point guard as a three-star prospect, a top-50 point guard nationally and the top prospect in D.C. for the Class of 2023 by 247Sports. He was also named third-team All-Met and DCSAA first-team All-State. Given his strong reputation, Mack held numerous Division I offers including from , , and St. Peter鈥檚, but ultimately chose to join Batties at Harvard.
