10. Asa Thomas, SF, Lake Forest
Thomas is one of several standouts in a strong group of talented wing players in Illinois鈥� 2023 class. The 6-foot-7, 185-pound small forward has been a star on the AAU circuit for the Illinois Wolves during his high school career, but has also impressed while on the court at Lake Forest. As a junior, Thomas averaged 17.4 points per game, showcasing his smooth shooting stroke. While he held several offers from in-state schools and other Midwest Power 5 programs such as Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, Thomas officially announced that he will play his college basketball at Clemson this past summer.
