Top 5 Indiana girls basketball players in Class of 2023
4. Laila Hull, F, Zionsville
At 6-foot-1, Hull is one of the taller girls on this list, and she plays like it when out on the court for Zionsville, using her length and strength around the rim on both ends of the floor. Part of her skill set likely comes from good athletic genes, as her father is current Howard University offensive coordinator Lee Hull who played football both in college and professionally, and has also coached at both levels. As a junior, Laila averaged an impressive 20.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.4 blocks for the Eagles. She will look to better those numbers as a senior before heading off to North Carolina, recently committing to the Tar Heels over the likes of Boston College, DePaul, Marquette and Maryland.
