Get to know South Western HS athlete Sam Wright
HANOVER, Pa. — Sam Wright is a senior at South Western High School where his favorite subject is history. Sam has been working out at Hanover Family Fitness for eight years in the Special Warrior program. His favorite exercise is sled pulls. He believes the heavier, the better.
Sam is also a member of The Young Marines. He believes it has impacted his life in a positive way making him more self-confident and teaching him self-control.
Sam鈥檚 hobbies are research and reenactment. This is what Sam had to say about reenactment, 鈥滻t鈥檚 maybe two weekends a month where a lot of people get together to have a fun time but also to preserve American History that would otherwise be forgotten, and we all do not want that to happen. I see it well into my future, after I graduate high school because many people I鈥檝e met do not have the same passion for history I do, but the people I go with really do care for it and I feel like that is what we need nowadays.鈥�
