Chris Henry Jr. has emerged as a top recruit as a freshman
CINCINNATI (BVM) 鈥� Anytime Chris Henry Jr. steps on the field for West Clermont High School, his size attracts attention.
As just a freshman, the wide receiver stands at 6-foot-3, 170 pounds.
When the ball is snapped, his combination of size, speed and athleticism is on full display.
The Wolves offense is a run-first system with 201 plays on the ground compared to only 94 through the air.
Despite that, Henry has flashed in his first six games of the season with a team-leading 17 receptions along with 141 yards and three touchdowns.

Outside of Henry, West Clermont鈥檚 opposite wideout, Hayden Jones, has flashed as well.
Not too many outlets have rankings out for the freshman class yet, but for the ones that do, Henry ranks near or at the top.

The talent is in the blood, as his father starred at West Virginia before being a third round selection by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2005.
His father鈥檚 life was tragically taken in an accident in 2009, when Chris was two years old.
Henry and his younger brother DeMarcus, who is an eighth-grader, were adopted by their dad鈥檚 teammate at West Virginia, Adam 鈥淧acman鈥� Jones.
Despite the pressure of being the son of a former NFL player, the high school freshman is making a name for himself on the gridiron.
The class of 2026 playmaker has already received offers from Miami, Ohio State, Penn State and his father鈥檚 alma mater, West Virginia.
Henry also received an invitation to the Under Armour All-America game before he even played a snap of high school football.
West Clermont is 3-3 on the season, but with Henry, and his brother coming into the fold next season, the Wolves offense could be one of the more exciting ones in the entire country in the near future.
