Crown Point volleyball excelling to start season
CROWN POINT, Ind. — The Lady Bulldogs don’t just excel at basketball. Crown Point volleyball is currently 7-2, including an impressive recent win against Michigan City.
The Bulldogs defeated the Wolves in straight sets, 25-16, 25-17 and 25-11 in a dominating victory.
Elie Schara leads the team in kills and aces and Helen Swinford is the team assist leader. Defense is in good hands with Vanessa Del Real and Macie Keilman, tops in digs and blocks respectively.
Remaining regular season matches include October tilts at home against Portage and a road rematch against Michigan City. Support your hometown volleyball stars and attend their varsity and junior varsity events!
