Three Rivers College athletics hosts 鈥淢eet the Raiders鈥� night
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Three Rivers College launched its 2022-23 athletics season with its annual 鈥淢eet the Raiders Night鈥� event on September 12 at the Libla Family Sports Complex. There was a meal beginning at 6 p.m. Admission to the event was free, and a meal ticket cost $5 for non-students.
鈥淲e鈥檙e very excited for the upcoming athletics seasons, and this has always been a great way to introduce new players to the community,鈥� said Aaron Deckard, President of the Three Rivers Booster Club. 鈥淚t gets everyone fired up and ready to launch into the games ahead, as well as helping to raise funds for the Booster Club. I think this is going to be a great year for the Raiders.鈥�
The event showcased the players and coaches for the Raiders basketball and baseball teams, the Lady Raiders basketball and softball teams, the rodeo team, esports and the cheer team. Attendees had the opportunity to support the Booster Club through reserved seating and membership purchases and could purchase items offered by The College Store.
