Martin County boys and girls swim teams win meet over The Pine School
STUART, Fla. — On August 30th, both the Martin County Girls and Boys Varsity Swim Teams hosted a home swim meet against The Pine School of Hobe Sound.
The first meet of the season saw both the girls’ and boys’ teams setting the bar pretty high for themselves with landslide victories for each team.
Martin County Boys Varsity swam their way to a 131-22 win against The Pine School. Six first-place finishes were awarded to the following swimmers: Andre Mendoza (Senior), Evan Pelletier (Junior), Jack Homer (Sophomore), Justin Bowman (Senior), Cutter Shipman (Junior), and Lincoln Salazar (Sophomore).
The Girls’ Varsity team made their win look effortless, defeating The Pine School with a score of 150-20. The girls had eight first-place finishers on the team which included Doriellen Padden (Freshman), Madelyn Bussom (Freshman), Juliana Beck (Senior), Eden Glover (Junior), Yani Melendez (Sophomore), Savannah Hill (Freshman), Addie Kneiss (Sophomore), and Charlotte Nebbeling (Sophomore).
