Spencer County HS boys golf team has successful tournament weekend
TAYLORSVILLE, Ky. — The Spencer County High School boys golf team continues to improve, showing that they are the team to watch this year in the state.
On Saturday, Junior Seth Shelley won his second career tournament by 2 strokes, with a 3 under 68 at My Old Kentucky Home Golf Course in the LaRue County Hawks Invitational. The Bears as a team shot a season-low 300, taking third place in the tournament.
On Sunday, the Bears were in Bardstown playing at the Maywood County Club in the 2022 Bethlehem Invitational. The team finished in fifth place with a respectable finish of 325.
