Tony Boselli is a Jacksonville sports icon; Where is he now?
JACKSONVILLE (BVM) 鈥�As a member of the 2022 Pro Football Hall of Fame class, Tony Boselli became the first Jaguar to receive the honor.
Being a big fan favorite, the Jaguars faithful would not want to have it any other way.
Before NFL career
Boselli joined the football team at USC in 1991 and became a star almost immediately. From 1992 through 1994, Boselli was first-team All-American as well as first-team All-Pac-10. He capped off his collegiate career by winning the Morris Trophy, awarded to the conference鈥檚 best lineman.
His college prestige led to being selected No. 2 overall in the 1995 draft, the first selection in the history of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Time in Jacksonville
Boselli played seven seasons in the league, becoming arguably the greatest Jaguar of all time. He played a total of 91 games for the franchise giving up only 15.5 sacks. He was first-team All-Pro three times as well as making 5 appearances in the Pro Bowl.
In the 1996 Wild Card, left tackle was assigned to block the DPOY Bruce Smith. Boselli DOMINATED that matchup. 馃槫 (via @nflthrowback)

He was selected by the Houston Texans in the 2002 expansion draft but never played for the team.
Boselli retired early due to a lingering shoulder injury that affected him throughout his career.

But Boselli remains a busy man.聽
In terms of his everyday duties, he is the offensive line coach for Episcopal School of Jacksonville. Also on the coaching staff is his former QB, Mark Brunell.
Boselli has also become quite the businessman owning multiple Whataburgers in the Jacksonville area. He also helps run the marketing firm he founded, IF Marketing. He is also still running the Boselli Foundation, which he founded in 1995, that helps at-risk youth.
While it has been over two decades since Boselli suited up for the Jaguars, he is still making a big impact in the Jacksonville community.
