Top 10 Florida defensive players for 2022 HS football season
4. Jayden Wayne, Edge, IMG Academy
A transfer to the Ascenders in the offseason, Wayne left his mark on the program at Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Washington. During his junior year last season, Wayne registered 16 tackles for loss and nine sacks in just eight games, being named a second-team by MaxPreps. Expected to repeat the feat if not exceed it, Wayne was also selected by MaxPreps as well. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound outside pass rusher is ranked as the No. 43 overall prospect, No. 10 Florida prospect and No. 6 edge defender in the Class of 2023 by Wayne committed to Miami in July.
He doesn't love football
He just loves the attention
He could wind up a Bust
He doesn't have the passion
He is only good because he is big
He is overrated— 鈽咼ayden Wayne 1锔忊儯8锔忊儯 (@JaydenWayne8)
