8. Troy Bowles, LB, Tampa Jesuit
Bowles is fortunate enough to have a great mentor and teacher to help him understand complex defensive schemes at a high level. His father, Todd, is the current head coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after previously serving as the team鈥檚 defensive coordinator. Much like his dad, Troy has proven to be elite on the defensive side of football, leading Jesuit with 103 tackles, six tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles, an interception and a fumble recovery which he returned for a score. Troy helped his squad to a perfect 15-0 record and a state championship for the first time since 1968, earning himself second-team junior All-American honors from . The rising senior is rated as the No. 58 overall prospect and No. 3 linebacker in the Class of 2023 by and committed to the University of Georgia in July.
