Wyatt Davis continues to provide opportunities for young QBs
SCOOBA, Miss. (BVM) 鈥 Being a quarterback at any level can be challenging and rewarding at times. In Wyatt Davis鈥 case, that situation has been rewarding.
His career started at Pearl City Central High School, where he was the standout quarterback for the Blue Devils. He threw for over 2,000 yards and 11 touchdowns during his senior campaign. He also completed 63% of his passes.聽
However, he was unable to generate any offers from D1 colleges. So, he thought the best shot he鈥檇 have was to play at the junior college (JUCO) level.聽

He decided to attend Pearl River Community College, but after a short period there, he decided it wasn’t the right fit for him. He wound up joining East Mississippi Community College (EMCC), which has acquired fame from the Netflix series 鈥淟ast Chance U.鈥
鈥淚 am extremely grateful for the opportunity the River gave me, but East Mississippi is a place I鈥檝e always wanted to be,鈥 Davis told the . 鈥淧lus, Bo [Wallace] is someone I鈥檝e always looked up to, so to be taken under his wing is a true honor for me.鈥
My brother, is the best in the business. You won鈥檛 outwork him! If your a quarterback coming up, you want to play for this guy right here.

Despite Davis joining EMCC, nothing materialized. So, following his playing days, he began to coach and develop up-and-coming QBs that can thrive under the right coaching. This program is called 鈥601 Elite Quarterback Big 40.鈥
Competing at this camp has brought forth some of the state’s best young QBs. Those who are there or eyeing to join the program will only get the best from coaches who want the younger generation to prosper in a game loved by many.

To this point, Mississippi has found itself in the middle of the pack when it comes to states producing top-tier collegiate talent. But with Davis and his camp, young and skilled quarterbacks are hoping to achieve their calling. It鈥檚 evident Davis has found his.聽
It鈥檚 bigger than just a name..
