5. Brandon Noble, DT, First Colonial
Noble excelled for the First Colonial Patriots during his time in Virginia Beach, being named the Class AAA Player of the Year as a senior in 1992. The defensive tackle took his talents to Penn State where he would eventually become the starter and led the team in sacks as a senior in 1996 where he earned All-Big Ten second-team honors. Noble went undrafted in 1997 and signed with the 49ers where he spent the 1997 and 1998 seasons on the practice squad. He signed as a free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 1999 and after excelling in NFL Europe earned a chance in the NFL. He played the next five seasons in the league, four with the Cowboys and one with Washington, where he participated in 80 games with 48 starts registering 148 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, four fumble recoveries and a forced fumble.
