Rudolph 鈥楤laze鈥� Ingram, 10, drawing comparisons to Tyreek Hill
TAMPA, Fla. (BVM) 鈥� Rudolph Ingram, a.k.a. 鈥淏laze,鈥� is being compared as the next Tyreek Hill and Usain Bolt for his speed and talent on the track and football field. Ingram turns 11 years old next week on Aug. 12. It鈥檚 been nearly four years since he became the 鈥渇astest kid on the planet鈥� at the age of 7, and life hasn鈥檛 slowed down for him since.听
How Ingram earned title of 鈥渇astest kid on the planet鈥澨�
Ingram, who is from the Tampa area, burst onto the national scene when a video of him running the 100-meter dash went viral in 2019. The then-7-year-old left all the other kids in the dust while practicing nearly perfect form from start to finish. A video of Ingram, who finished the race in a shocking 13.48-record time, broke ESPN鈥檚 record of 13.76 for 7 and 8-year-old boys in the event. A video of the race was posted to his personal YouTube page and can be viewed below.听
But, is Ingram still the fastest kid?听
In early 2022, the 10-year-old made a new personal record at a track meet. shows that he won the race after sprinting the 100m dash in 12.81 seconds. It鈥檚 a fast time, but he didn鈥檛 break the record for his age group.听
It鈥檒l be interesting to see how Ingram continues to perform. Although he鈥檒l always hold the status of the fastest 7-year-old kid on record, he鈥檒l have to continue to prove himself within his new age group as he turns 11 for the upcoming season.
What is Ingram鈥檚 40-yard dash?
Although he could dominate on the professional track circuit, Ingram actually has dreams of becoming the best running back in football. He went viral again at 10 years old after a Whistle segment called, 鈥淚 can do that,鈥� The video,, shows him running the 40-yard dash in 4.21 seconds.听
But, the internet reasonably wants to see some more proof first. That speed would beat some of the fastest recorded 40-yard dashes — even in NFL history.听
Is Rudolph Ingram the next Tyreek Hill?听
Ingram鈥檚 unofficial 40-yard dash would also mean that former Kansas City Chiefs star and current Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has a slower dash at 4.29 seconds. It鈥檚 no wonder why Hill challenged Ingram to a race in 2019. The race has yet to occur, but clearly, Hill just wants to see this speedster鈥檚 dash for himself.听
Hill, also known as the 鈥淐heetah,鈥� is known in the NFL for his speed and quick maneuvers to get past defenders. The internet has taken notice that Ingram displays both speed and exceptional ability to play football.听

Ingram attracting attention from DI schools
Ingram has already been hanging out with some D1 players and coaches. He got the in early 2022.
