1. Alex Birchmeier, OT, Broad Run
The top player in Virginia has had his collegiate decision made for a while. Birchmeier, a 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive tackle, committed to Penn State in July 2021. The offensive lineman has been a dominant force for the Broad Run Spartans earning first-team all-region as a sophomore and first-team all-state as a junior. Given his size and strength, Birchmeier is expected to be a strong addition for the Nittany Lions, who will be getting a lot of the top talent from the state.
