1. Nyckoles Harbor, EDGE, Archbishop Carroll
The clear top player in the region, Harbor dominated during his season for the Lions both offensively, but mostly on the defensive side of the ball. At 6-foot-5, 220 pounds, Harbor is an athletic freak who can somehow carry that weight to the speed of a 100-meter dash. On the gridiron, Harbor joined Mupoyi to cause frequent havoc in opposing backfields, racking up a ridiculous 44 tackles, 31 tackles for a loss and 17 sacks as well as four pass deflections, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two blocked kicks and two fumbles returned for touchdowns. Offensively, Harbor caught 16 passes for 290 yards and five touchdowns for good measure. In a category all his own, Harbor the WCAC Metro Conference co-defensive player of the year, the DCSAA player of the year, DC player of the year, first-team all-WCAC , first-team all-state and second-team . Harbor currently ranks as the No. 24 prospect nationally in the and while he has not made his collegiate decision yet, with 43 offers he will have his pick of top programs. Harbor has released his top seven which consists of Georgia, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, LSU, South Carolina and USC.
