鈥淚 enjoy yoga, baking, skiing, cross country, and track & field. I reached out to a lot of schools when I was deciding where to go to college.聽 The process was stressful but very rewarding.聽 I鈥檝e always tried to maintain balance and to put equal effort into my classes and my sports.聽 Stress is inevitable.聽 The competitive aspect of sports makes me excited, and I love the friends I have made.聽 The whole atmosphere of meets is great and gets me pumped up! My parents are my number one supporters.聽 I appreciate them a lot!聽 I鈥檓 looking forward to meets at college and meeting my new teammates in person.聽 My goal is to improve my 5k time.聽 I鈥檓 looking forward to exploring the different majors that interest me and to find my niche!鈥

鈥淚 love skiing, sailing, yoga, cross country, and track & field.聽 I love the team aspect of my sport and the community of people who I鈥檝e met.聽 So many of my best friendships have been made through running.聽 Going to practices, meets, Sunday long runs, bus rides, team dinners together, and sharing tons of activities have made up some of my best memories.
鈥淚 would like to thank my parents and other family members who have played a huge role in supporting me all of these years.聽 Whether it be showing up to as many meets as possible or consoling me after what I see as a poor performance, I wouldn鈥檛 be where I am today without them.聽 I would also like to thank my numerous coaches throughout the years who have taught me so much beyond just running.聽 I would also like to thank my friends who are the people who bring me away from the stresses of school and sports and provide a stability which means the world to me. I am most looking forward to my next set of teammates and coaches.聽 I can鈥檛 wait to meet them, grow with them, learn from them, and make tons of memories with them!鈥
Congratulations, Paige and Lauren, and keep us posted on your upcoming cross country and track & field seasons!
