Lone Peak girls golf team wins 6A State Championship
HIGHLAND, Utah — Congratulations to the Lone Peak Lady Knights golf team. They earned the title of 6A State Champions, with some of the Knights earning medalist positions.
The Long sisters were especially competitive with one another with senior, Berlin Long, taking first place with a score of par at 144 strokes. Aadyn Long, a freshman, took second place with 147 strokes. Tied for seventh place senior Eliza Zolman had a score of 161 strokes.
The rest of the Lone Peak Lady Knights that made the cut included senior Adley Nelson in 13th place with a score of 166. Another senior, Carly Belliston tied for 19th with a score of 174 strokes. Senior Meagan King tied for 27th with a score of 179 strokes. Megan Wood, also a senior placed 33rd with a score of 184 strokes.
