Satellite HS track & field team receives medals at FHSAA Class 2A State Finals
SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. — The boys team finished 4th at the FHSAA Class 2A, State Finals held in Gainesville on May 12th. They were led by senior Dayton Law who finished 2nd in the 3200, 3rd in the 1600 and ran on the 4 x 800 relay with Justin Wilson, Aidan Mason and Andrew Mahorner that finished 2nd in state. This is the second highest finish in the boys track history after finishing in 2nd last year. Andrew Mahorner also scored well finishing 3rd in the 3200. The girls were led by freshman Loralei Filosa who finished second in the high jump and Emma Terry who finished 6th in the shot put. Way to go Scorps!
