SEMO Athletics flashback: The 1988-89 men鈥檚 basketball team
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — The 1988-89 Southeast Missouri men’s basketball team was 27-6, won the MIAA Championship, the NCAA South Central Regional Championship and advanced to the championship game in Springfield, Mass. The team, coached by Ron Shumate, finished second in the nation.
