BROOKFIELD, Conn. — Sophomore Catherine Sollose was recognized as All SWC Conference 1st team and All Tournament Team in the 2021-2022 girls’ basketball season. A leader on the court for Brookfield HS, she was the team’s top scorer with 366 points, 156 rebounds, 72 steals, and 49 assists this season. A member of the Athletic Advisory, Catherine consistently displays good sportsmanship toward her fellow players and competitors. In addition to her strong athletic performance, Catherine is an ambitious student who maintains a 4.54 GPA while taking all Honors and AP classes. Catherine was coached by Lisa Schang. She is very grateful to her coaches and teammates for helping her to grow into the student athlete she is today.
Kenny Granacker is a Senior Captain on the BBD (Brookfield, Bethel and Danbury) Co-op Ice Hockey team. Kenny led BBD last season to an SCC/SWC Championship last season with a 4-1 victory over Newtown.

He has a total of 5 hat tricks which is a school record. He also has 68 career points which is top ten in school history and has had the best plus/minus on the team for two years in a row. Last season Kenny was named to the 2nd Team All State Team and the 2nd Team all SCC/SWC Team. Kenny is the son of head coach Rusty Granacker who was named Coach of the Year this year of the SCC/SWC and last season as well. Kenny plans to play hockey in college.
