While disappointed, Lasers鈥 head coach Treusdell did acknowledge that there were some positives from the loss.聽
鈥淥ffensively we started to click for the first time this year, really in the first half. Our defense was playing well in the first half,鈥 Treusdell said.聽
Going forward Treusdell stated the Lasers need to get better from this loss.聽
鈥淛ust getting better from the loss. We don鈥檛 want to be 0-3 but we have to learn from this game,鈥 the Lasers coach said. 鈥淰ery much ahead most of the game and then we let it slip away at the end, so playing four quarters completely, keeping our composure, staying out of the penalty box, and coming up with ground balls at the end, that鈥檚 something we got to take with us moving forward.鈥
The reigning Great Northeast Athletic Conference champions will face UMASS Boston on the road in their next game on Tuesday.
