Upcoming baseball season at Princess Anne HS
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Princess Anne baseball team is looking forward to a great upcoming spring season. The Cavaliers are led by Coach Marc Joe. Coach Joe joined the coaching staff in 2015 and became head coach in 2019. Assistant coach Jaylin Gardenhire came on in 2019. Assistant coach Justin Baird comes from Tallwood High School. This will be Coach Baird鈥檚 first full year as part of the Cavalier coaching staff.
The team ended the fall season with a golf tournament fundraiser at the Suffolk Golf Course. It was a huge success and is sure to be an annual event. The winter months were spent conditioning, practicing, and volunteering. Over the holidays, the team volunteered at the Salvation Army鈥檚 Toys for Tots campaign.
This year鈥檚 team looks promising with both returning players and young talent. The season kicks off with an away game against Landstown High School on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. The Cavaliers first home game is on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, against First Colonial High School. It is sure be a great game!
This year the Cavaliers will be hosting food trucks at their home games. Check out their schedule below and plan to enjoy a nice spring evening having dinner while watching some great baseball. Roll Cavs!
