Pine Creek and Falcon High wrestlers place at state tournament
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Congratulations to Pine Creek and Falcon High School Wrestling on a great finish to their seasons!
The Colorado High School wrestling state tournaments took place on February 17 thru February 19 at Ball arena in Denver. Both of our local high schools placed at the tournament. In 4A, Falcon High School placed 7th with 84.0 points, and in 5A, Pine Creek placed 8th with 62.0 points and were the runner up regional team.
Pine Creek鈥檚 Griffin Rial placed 5th in the 5A 106-pound class, Sir Israel Pulido placed 5th place in the 5A 113-pound class, Logan Noble placed 6th in the 182-pound class, and Nate King placed 5th in the 5A 220-pound class. 聽Victoria Guinard also placed 2nd and as a Junior is still making Pine Creek Eagle history.
Falcon High School鈥檚 Tyler Valdez placed 2nd in the 4A 145-pound class, Javani Majoor placed 4th in the 4A 152-pound class, Ryan Patterson placed 5th in the 4A 182-pound class, and Josiah Aldinger placed 2nd in the 4A 220-pound class.
