Clearview HS swimming wins TCC Showcase, breaks two meet records
MULLICA HILL, N.J. — Congratulations to the Clearview Girls Swim Team for finishing their regular season as both Gloucester County and Tri-County Conference Champs.
Clearview Girls Swim Team clinched the 36th annual Jim Roach Gloucester County Championships for the second consecutive year.
They went on to not only win the Tri-County Conference Showcase, but break two meet records.聽Junior Lindsey Lett placed first in the 100 free in a meet-record time of 53.65. The previous record of 54.61 was set in 2000聽 by a Clearview swimmer. The team of Madelyn Clark, Madelyn DiMarco, Caroline Pennington and Danielle McCarthy broke the meet record in winning the 200 free relay in 1:41.95. The old record was 1:42.92 from 2010 also set by Clearview.
