Preparing for Campbellsville University Kayak Bass Fishing team鈥檚 inaugural season
MOUNT WASHINGTON, Ky. — After falling in love with competitive bass fishing after fishing my first tournament at the age of 13, I had no idea where that passion would take me. In my junior year of high school at Bullitt East, with the help of Troy Barr (AD) and Ed Bentley, we were able to get a team started.
After competing in high school I was fortunate enough to receive a bass fishing scholarship to Campbellsville University while studying Business Management and Marketing. After 4 successful years and graduation, Campbellsville University started a Kayak Bass Fishing team that I am blessed to head coach.
This fall our anglers competed in the 鈥淏attle of the Hollow鈥� on Dale Hollow Lake, and our first season will kick off this spring. We are always looking to recruit kayak fishing anglers! I have also started my own fishing/electronics guide business on Dale Hollow, Lake Cumberland, and Green River Lake.
