Martin County scores 9-1 victory over SLWCHS
STUART, Fla. — On January 4th, the Martin County Girls Varsity Soccer Team took another win for their well-played season. The Tigers hosted the St. Lucie West Centennial Eagles and scored their way to a 9-1 victory.
The Eagles’ defeat came down to the experience shown by several of the Tigers’ standout players. Kiara Maher and Dakota Moberg had two saves each. Mia Calderon and Peyton Fitzherbert led the team’s offensive strategy with each recording hat tricks, or three goals apiece. The game was closed out with goals scored by Summer Sinclair and Meghan Murphy.
