No. 1 recruit Travis Hunter signs with Jackson State

Hunter attended Collins Hill High School and had an outstanding prep career. According to , he had 19 career interceptions, and 114 total tackles.

Hunter can help an already impressive Jackson state team led by NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders. The Tigers set a school record with 11 wins last season and captured their first Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) title since 2007.聽
With Hunter on his way to Jackson State, he’ll look to carry on the tradition of Jerry Rice, Doug Williams and Walter Payton. And with a coach like Sanders to learn from, Hunter can make the most of his opportunity at JSU.
