Dedicated Coeur d鈥橝lene Vikings
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Football has changed my life in many ways. I know it鈥檚 taught me as a person to work hard for what I have and want. To be a part of something larger than yourself is very special. People don鈥檛 know the brotherhood that is made in the Coeur d鈥橝lene Vikings program that lasts longer than just the season. The way we look at it, we鈥檙e all brothers out there and we depend on one another to do our jobs. To be able to play with my brother on varsity was a very cool experience for me. All the after school lifting starts in the first week of January to the six-hour, 95-degree summer camps and practices. Viking football is more than just playing a sport I love, it’s about culture and family. In our program, Coeur d’Alene not only makes great athletes, but young men. Football challenged me to be dedicated, responsible, and live a healthy lifestyle. Some of my most favorite memories come from this program. Coeur d’Alene football has impacted many people’s lives, and I want to continue to be a part of that. Shortly after I was done playing for Coeur d’Alene High School I didn’t want to leave. Coach Amos gave me the privilege to be a coach and continue to be a part of this program. I love the sport of football, and I love being a part of it. This game means so much to me that I’ve been refereeing junior tackle football for three years now.
