Heartland CC women鈥檚 volleyball heading to NJCAA DII nationals for first time in history
NORMAL, Ill. —聽The Heartland Hawks Volleyball team is heading to the NJCAA DII National Tournament with their District Title wins against Spoon River and Illinois Central College in the Central District B Championships.

Heartland added volleyball to their athletics program just two short years ago, but COVID ended the Hawks’ first ever season. Head coach, Mary Frahm, and her team rallied back from that disappointment and adversity stronger than ever in year two and will be playing in Nationals for the first time in program history.
The Hawks (29-6). await pairings to determine their match-up, but will play in Cedar Rapids, Iowa from November 18th-20th.
