Friday night five: OSSAA football top 5 performances in Week 9
HARRAH, Okla. (BVM) 鈥 There are three weeks left of the Oklahoma High School football season. With playoff spots on the line, some big performances were needed out of the team’s best players. Here are the top five from this past week.
- Christian Burke, Sr. QB, Bixby High School
Against Ponca City, Burke completed 76% of his pass attempts. He also threw for 239 yards and tossed four TDs.聽

- Emmett Murphy, Sr. WR, Jones High School
In a game where 91 total points were scored, Murphy hauled in five catches for 208 yards against Prague High School. He also caught three TD passes which included the game winning score.聽
- Caden Parnell, Jr. LB, Verdigris High School
Parnell put up a dominant performance against Class 3A No. 1 Holland Hall. He compiled 10 total tackles (4 for loss), one sack and a 21-yard interception. The Verdigris defense allowed only 200 yards of offense.

- La鈥橳rell Ray, Jr. RB, Choctaw High School
Ray led the way as the Choctaw Yellowjackets beat Putman West 60-20. In just the first half, Ray had five catches for 160 yards and scored five TDs.

- Aidan Trimble, Sr. RB, Oologah High School
Trimble carried the ball 18 times against Cleveland High School. On those 18 carries he rushed for 164 yards and scored five TDs.聽
