The Rumson girls soccer team loses two games in a row

FAIR HAVEN, N.J. — The girls soccer team from Rumson-Fair Haven High School lost two games last week.

On Oct. 7, the Bulldogs lost 1-0 to Freehold Township when Ainsley Moy scored the goal that made the difference. Also, Kayla Wong assisted on Freehold Township’s goal, moving the team’s ranking to No. 4 in the as they beat the Bulldogs.

Ashley Moore, the goalkeeper for the Freehold Township Patriots, made four saves for the team, while Eva Kalman made 11 saves for Rumson-Fair Haven.

Two days later, Middletown South beat Rumson-Fair Haven 2-0.

Meghan Carragher and Angie Shekian scored the two winning goals for the Eagles of Middletown South. The goalie for the Eagles, Allie Greco, made six saves. Eva Kalma, the goalie for the Bulldogs, registered six saves during the game as well.
