Martinsville continues win streak with solid performance against Whitefield in varsity football
WHITEFIELD, Ind. — The Martinsville Artesians won their second varsity football game in a row with an excellent performance against the Whitefield Warriors. The final score was 30-21.
The Artesians dominated in the run game, totaling more than 140 rushing yards. Senior running back Riddick Bolton had more than 100 yards from scrimmage with a touchdown.聽
Junior quarterback Tyler Adkins also made his presence felt with three passing touchdowns while distributing the football to eight different receivers.
With a home record of 3-0, the Artesians are looking to continue their success against the Perry Meridian Falcons (2-4). The two teams play on Oct. 1 at 7:00 p.m. in Indianapolis.聽
