Jake Peacock represents Cambridge Hill School at Western Carolina with his mighty swing

MILTON, Ga. — Golf is one of those sports that, for many people, can seem boring, but when Jake Peacock is on the course, everything seems to change.

Peacock is a young golfer who represented the Cambridge Hill School team in Milton. Peacock was drawn to the sport from a young age; he has an athlete’s spirit, which helped him take golf as his own. In this spirit, every time the player enters the field, the crowd goes wild because it is almost certain that he marked a milestone.

In 2020 with Cambridge High School, the athlete had a shooting average of 72.5, which was impressive considering that he was a young man of only 18 years old. Peacock has had excellent shooting rounds in just a few months, covering an average between 66 and 70.

According to his coach at Cambridge, Jake has practiced golf since the age of 7, showing great talent; he is one boy who is born with special abilities. Peacock has a swing much like a professional golfer at a world conference; it comes naturally to him.

With this talent, Jake participated in the Pee Wee World Golf Tournament, Little Linksters category, where he won for the best swing. In his childhood, Jake wasted no day practicing the sport, even when it was raining; with this determination, he became one of the best golfers in the city of Milton.

However, Jake is talented on the golf course, but he is also a great student. After graduating from Cambridge High School, he committed to Western Carolina University, where he started playing golf this summer.

Representing the Cambridge Bears, Jake accumulated a score of 72-53 in 2020, taking the average of the June tournament where he scored 70 over 18 holes and the JGS round with an average of -3.17. In that same exhibition, the player reached a range of 295-320 yards per shot and with a power that exceeded 114 miles per hour.

In 2021, Peacock has won two winter championships and five classic games. In these folf tournaments, he finished first and second place.

Jake has also taken home two trophies, the IMG Junior Golf Tour (15-18 years old) from the 2019-2020 season and the 2020 PGA Georgia Youth Tour in fifth place.

While his collegiate career is just beginning, Peacock will dominate the field with his impeccable swing. The player feels that the golf course belongs to him, and under these thoughts, he does wonders in each exhibition. Jake Peacock’s name could be heard again in the coming months during his time with WCU.
