Nevada football lands Oregon鈥檚 No. 4 prospect Jacob Newell
RENO, Nev. (BVM) 鈥 Nevada football just landed the No. 4 prospect in the state of Oregon.
Jacob Newell, a tight end from Thurston High School, announced his commitment to the Wolfpack on Wednesday night over offers from Arizona, UNLV, Colorado State, Fresno State, UNLV and more. The pass-catching tight end is rated No. 37 at the position nationally, according to 247Sports.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Newell took an official visit to Nevada on June 4 which made the Wolfpack a legitimate landing spot. He has caught 36 passes for 453 yards and 10 touchdowns in 18 games over the last two seasons.聽
