Monroe College hosts the Volleyball August Invitational
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (BVM) — It will be an action-packed weekend for the Monroe Mustangs women’s volleyball team. They will host the Volleyball August Invitational at the Monroe Athletic Complex.
Five teams will participate in the tournament that will last for two days and have ten games played. Monroe Express will go up against Jefferson CC to kick start the competition at 9 a.m. on Aug. 21.
The last game will commence at 5 p.m. The Monroe Mustangs will then cap off the tournament on Sunday evening against Monroe Express. Volleyball fans anticipate this to be the most exciting game in the whole competition.
The awaited event will be streamed live on the Monroe Mustangs official page for all fans to see. Everyone that attends the games will be required to adhere to the COVID-19 regulations. They will have to put on a mask before entering the MAC.
It will be a fun way for the women to showcase their talents and sharpen their skills as they await the new season.
