Wall High School upgrades football field in time for 2021 season
WALL, N.J. — Over the summer, the football field at Wall Township High School was upgraded to a state of the art, natural grass field thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Wall Knights Family Foundation.
Starting the 2021 season, the Wall Knights will be competing on the best natural grass surface in the State of New Jersey. The natural turf, which was provided by Tuckahoe Turf, is the same natural turf that has been installed on Professional Fields such as, Lincoln Financial Field, Fenway Park and Lambeau Field
The Wall Knights Family Foundation is comprised of local Wall Residents and business owners who are committed to the youth athletes in Wall Township. The foundation was established to provide the athletes with the tools to match their abilities and continue to cultivate championship teams.
The purpose of the Wall Knights Family Foundation is to utilize the resources available through the private sector to support Wall Football programs. The foundation will focus on large scale capital improvement projects which will allow Wall鈥檚 football players to have access to state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and training.
Special thanks for making this football field of dreams a reality need to be given to the Wall High School facilities Director, Nick Moretto who was responsible for expertly replacing the field鈥檚 drainage system and By Design Landscape for re-grading the field and installing the turf in time for the first game of the season.
