Courtney Lee stays in Oklahoma
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (BVM) 鈥 Back on May 3, The RiverHawks added forward Courtney Lee. Taking the court for Northeastern State University this winter, Lee is looking to further her basketball career.聽

Lee scored over 1,000 points in her Sallisaw High School career and is the reigning Big 8 Player of the Year.

During her senior year in Sallisaw, Okla., Lee earned Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association (OGBCA) Academic All-State, VYPE Magazine Top 100 and also was named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-Star team. During her final season, she averaged 18.3 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists.聽
The 6-foot-3 forward also poses a threat on defense. During her final season, she averaged 1.9 blocks and 2.5 steals.聽

Lee was one of the first recruits added to the program for Suiaunoa 2021. It鈥檚 sure to be an exciting one for the RiverHawks as they look to take Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) by storm.聽
