Richmond Hill middle schoolers are next up

RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (BVM) —  The Richmond Hill Wildcats went 9-3 last season, showing that their football team is not one to mess with. Meanwhile, some local middle schoolers showed that this team will be legitimate for quite some time.

In the Future Stars Game held in Jacksonville, Fla., from June 11-12, Brody Miller, Thomas Zimbalatti and Larson Little represented Richmond Hill. The teenage football players joined forces with other standout players from around the state of Georgia to play against all-star teams from South Carolina, Ohio and Florida.

Miller and Zimbalatti were on the eight grade team as offensive linemen, while Little made the seventh grade team as a running back. This experience was a first for Little and Miller, but for Zimbalatti, this marked the third time he participated in the event.

Both the Georgia eighth and seventh grade teams beat the South Carolina teams but lost to the Florida teams the following day. Miller and Zimbalatti did solid work on the offensive line while Little stuffed the stat sheet, scoring three touchdowns and three two-point conversions over two games.
