Rutgers commit Brown continuing to explore options
STUART, Fla. (BVM) — Martin County High School wide receiver Amarion Brown may be committed to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, but that football blood inside of him won鈥檛 let him stop playing the field. Brown recently visited the Auburn Tigers, just to see what life could be like if he were to reverse his decision.
Brown spent time with coaches Bryan Harsin, Mike Bobo and Cornelius Williams, who all made a lasting impression on the four-star wideout. Not only did Brown but he also has ties to the program through close friend Jamien Sherwood, a former Tiger himself and now-rookie for the New York Jets.
However, Auburn isn鈥檛 the only school he鈥檒l be visiting during this period. Brown has already visited Georgia and Georgia Tech, with plans to visit Florida, Alabama, UCF, East Mississippi and Jackson State still in the works.聽
The 6-foot-3 prospect is clearly highly sought after, with another year with the Tigers still to be played. This past season he led the Tigers to a 9-2 overall mark, registering over 1,200 all-purpose yards and 11 touchdown grabs.聽
