Rivalry week highlights for Monte Vista HS football
DANVILLE, Calif. — As I鈥檓 sitting here writing this it’s four days away from the Monte Vista鈥檚 final Football game. Not just your ordinary game either, It is rivalry week. MV Mustang vs. San Ramon High wolves.
I鈥檝e been following the two programs taking pictures at their games. Here鈥檚 some pictures from Monte Vista vs Cal High and Clayton Valley MV lost to Cal High in Overtime 38-31 in a nail biter. Monte Vista held the lead throughout most of the games until Cal High Forced OT following a fumble.
I felt MV held their own in the Clayton Valley game. Especially considering by halftime CV ran the ball 44 times. But in the end, MV lost 21-14. Monte Vista is currently 0-5 but they鈥檙e not giving up in these games. They鈥檙e playing with heart. I hope my pictures show it.
