Conner High football field slowly coming together
HEBRON, Ky. (BVM) — After years of , Conner High School will finally get its long-awaited turf football field for this fall football season. In February 2020, it was that all Boone County Public Schools fields would be turfed for the 2022 football season, including the Cougars’ home stadium.
And so the process begins! It’s exciting to think we will have a turf field soon!

Now, Cougars faithful can finally see their efforts being brought to fruition as turf pieces of the field have slowly begun being installed over the past week.
First piece is down! Such an exciting day in Hebron! We’ve waited for this for a long time! Can’t wait to see the finished product!

It has been a rather quick process as nearly the entire field has been installed, including the team’s logo at the midfield line as well as the two end zones which will both be red trimmed with blue. The sidelines will also have blue and red trimming to separate the field and the player’s boxes.
The field is coming together! Looks fantastic!

Current feedback from fans have been nothing but positive. The new turf is certainly a far cry away from the grass the Cougars used a year ago, just looking at the difference between the two fields one can see how much of an improvement it truly is.
Starting here. To get here

With a new turf stadium, Cougars fans’ excitement has reached a fever pitch. Hopefully with a newer and faster surface under their feet, the Cougars will be able to reward the fanbase with even more wins this fall.
