UNH guard Sean Sutherlin transferring to Minnesota
DURHAM, N.H. (BVM) — University of New Hampshire guard Sean Sutherlin will be going back home, after announcing on Twitter that he will be transferring to University of Minnesota.

The Wildcats鈥� guard transferred to New Hampshire from Sheridan College after spending two years with the program. Sutherlin started all 28 games in which he played his junior season and averaged 12.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. The 6-foot-5 guard sat out all of 2020-21 with a hip injury.
In his two years at junior college, Sutherlin helped lead Sheridan College to a 55-9 record while racking up 646 points with the Generals.聽
Sutherlin is joining a much different Minnesota Gophers team which has already added three other players through the transfer portal, under new head coach Ben Johnson. He will join fellow transfers Jamison Battle, Luke Loewe and EJ Stephens.
The Wildcats are coming off a 10-9 season in 2020-21 and have already added Siena transfer Sloan Seymour through the portal after Sutherlin transferred.
